Formed
in 1899 the Yorkshire Photographic
Union is the oldest regional
federation of photographic
clubs and societies in the
United Kingdom.
The Yorkshire Photographic Union
are members of the The Photographic
Alliance of Great Britain.
The Union exists to provide an
organisation of camera clubs and
photographic societies throughout
the region.
Clubs vary from the major clubs of
the towns and cities, localised
clubs at the workplace or
specialist clubs such as the
Yorkshire Monochrome Group or the
YPU Medium Format Group.
