A word from our President...

As the Society begins its 60th season I believe it's fair to say that we are truly in the digital age. Who now uses slide or print film?

This year we have lectures and workshops designed to refresh our memories on those simple techniques that create stunning results, how to use the features on your camera, how to use simple lighting to spend more time creating pictures with your camera and less time chained to the computer.

Should further inspiration be required we have invited Laurie Campbell to give our 60th aninniversary lecture on Saturday 27th February 2010 at Ripon Leisure Centre 2pm (see 'News' for further info). We look forward to seeing you there.
